“Photography for me is a passion, not a job”
Photography found me, I did not find it. Initially I studied Garden Design and through this I came across my first DSLR to identify plants and from that point my passion grew. Following on from my landscaping work I went abroad to Miami to work on Royal Caribbean’s “The Liberty of the Seas” as a cruise ship photographer, although I would not recommend this job to the faint hearted it certainly taught me quite a few life lessons and the most important thing “Manual Mode” which has now given me Full Creative Control.
Returning from the cruise ships I carried on with portraiture and weddings part time and began teaching photography back in 2012, since then I have taught over 1600 students privately Basic Photography, run workshops for The Royal Photographic Society and in November 2014 was signed by Getty Images to run workshops for them. Enjoying teaching I returned back to University to gain a degree in Photography so I am able to teach at schools and colleges further on in my career, of which I will graduate in summer 2015.
I am now a full time student, in my third year of study and running my photographic business. Recently I have been signed by Future Publishing and am a contributor for Classic Ford Magazine and American Car Magazine. I am currently in talks with a few marketing and advertising agencies in regards to advertising work.
