Biography
David has a passion for photographing people and has a particular interest in creating photographs with a natural look to them.
"I so much enjoy the fact that people allow me to photograph them let alone commission me to do so!
I tend to use the minimum of artificial lighting and to approach a shoot as an exercise in capturing the likeness and personality of the sitter with them co-operating in the style and look of the shoot. To create images in a mutual way is a very personal and personable experience both for the photographer and for the sitter.
Recording the world around me has always been a large part of my photography leading to a number of solo exhibitions and having work published and sold through local galleries. I have been fortunate enough to be invited to give talks and training for camera clubs and local societies and commissioned to cover events such as family occasions, music concerts, company functions. I count myself lucky that through my photography I have found a creative outlet that I can share with so many people."
